The Chicago Cubs are going all-out with efforts to celebrate Wrigley Field’s 100th anniversary season. So much so, in fact, that the team has created a single website dedicated to the centennial celebration.
The “Wrigley Field 100” website is a Cubs fan’s one-stop shop for all things related to the ballpark’s big birthday. Details on giveaways, food options, throwback jerseys…it’s all there.
Most interesting to me is the section that allows fans to vote on the “All-Wrigley Team”, as well as other fan voting contests that let folks pick their favorite ballpark traditions, concession items and more.
There are also some cool 1914 infographics, details on Wrigley’s future and downloadable desktop wallpapers. It’s a perfect way to get ready for the season-long celebration, without worrying about how the actual Cubs team will fare on the field.
