Aaron Rodgers is the NFL’s Most Valuable Player

Collecting 48 of 50 possible votes, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the Associated Press National Football League Most Valuable Player.

Rodgers, who led the Packers to a 15-1 regular season record, became the first Packers player since Brett Favre in 1997 to win the award.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees received the two remaining votes.
